Our Story

Gospel For Turks

Our vision has always been to see a movement of Turkish-speaking people who know and love Jesus, grow as disciples, and carry the Gospel boldly throughout the Muslim world. We believe Turks themselves — transformed by Christ and rooted in Scripture — are the most powerful witnesses to God’s love among their families, communities, and nation.

That vision first took shape through Tore, a media ministry leader working in Denmark under Jarle, a pastor and evangelist with a heart for reaching the least-reached. They recognized early that modern media could carry the Gospel where traditional mission work was limited. Encouraged by these early steps, Jarle’s son, Martin, embraced the calling and helped turn the vision into organized ministry action.

In 2007, the work formally began when the first Turkish-language media ministry, Kanal Hayat, launched in Scandinavia — even filming a Turkish sitcom to reach and engage seekers in a familiar cultural voice. From 2008 to 2010, ministry teams continued producing Gospel content with Turkish believers, laying a foundation for what God would build next.

Through every phase, one truth has remained: media opens the door, and discipleship changes lives.

As seekers encountered Christ through videos and broadcasts, Martin and the team built systems for follow-up, Scripture study, and relational connection — ensuring new believers were never alone.

Looking Forward

Today, Gospel for Turks strengthens and expands this disciple-making movement by supporting evangelism, follow-up, training, and church connection so Turkish-speaking believers can grow in faith and become disciple-makers across Turkey and the global Turkish diaspora.

We now invite American believers to join in what God is doing — through prayer, partnership, and generosity. Together we can help reach the Turkish world with the Gospel and support a multiplying movement of disciples who share Jesus with the Muslim world.

God is moving. The harvest is ready. And the story is still being written.

Our Impact

Media to Movement. Ground Game to Growth.

God has opened a new pathway for the Gospel in the Turkish-speaking world.

Turkey remains one of the least-reached and hardest-to-reach nations on earth. Fewer followers of Christ live in Turkey today than in Iran or Saudi Arabia. For decades the nation has been nearly closed to traditional missions — first under military rule resistant to Christianity, and now under Islamic nationalism that sees Christian ministry as a threat to national identity.

Across the region, Western missionaries are being expelled, visas are denied, and access to Muslim-majority areas is narrowing. Traditional strategies struggle to reach places where the Gospel is most needed.

Yet in the midst of closed doors, God has opened a new one.

Digital media now carries the Gospel privately, safely, and directly into homes, phones, and hearts — reaching seekers who may never step into a church. But media is only the beginning. It is the open door. Discipleship is the path inside.

When someone responds to the Gospel — requesting a Bible, asking questions, or sharing a decision to follow Jesus — an experienced believer answers. Across the Turkish-speaking world, trained disciple-makers respond, pray, study Scripture, and walk with new believers. They help seekers receive Bibles, connect to believers, join fellowship when possible, and grow into disciples who make disciples.

This is media to movement — digital outreach leading to real discipleship, real community, and multiplying churches.
This is our ground game — everyday believers discipling new believers, one life at a time.

Through media, we reach them.
Through relationships, we disciple them.
Through the Spirit, God multiplies them.

Media opens the door.
Discipleship builds the church.
Jesus advances His Kingdom — even where missionaries cannot go.
